Best Programme Acquisition

Criteria

This award will go to an acquired programme or piece of content that has done the most to improve the performance, profile and credibility of a channel within its target market.

Judges will be looking for an excellent piece of content that has generated both ratings and interest and publicity generated for the channel or platform that acquired it.

Shows bought by BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5 are ineligible.
Budget will be taken into consideration – the value for money the acquisition delivers will be important, so please provide details of cost per episode.

The programme can be sourced from international market.

Qualifying Period

All entries must relate to the period between 1 January 2018 and 1 April 2019, with the first episode of the series having it’s first transmission during these dates.
