Channel Executive, Channel 4

As Channel Executive, Art works at the heart of commissioning at Channel 4, liasing closely with Chief Content Officer Ian Katz and Director of Content Strategy and Planning Kiran Nataraja.

His role is extremely varied and includes overseeing cross-genre commissioning rounds like the Contestable Fund, Shaping channel content strategy, leading cross-departmental working groups on the channel’s biggest shows like The Great British Bake Off and The Piano, working closely with other areas of the business (including marketing, public affairs, and audience research) and generally being a font of knowledge of all things television. Before Channel 4, Art spent five years working in development at RDF, focusing primarily on returnable formats.
