Daniela Neumann

Daniela Neumann is CEO of Rare TV, an independent production company making factual shows for the UK, US and worldwide streamers.

Prior to taking over at Rare, she was Managing Director of award winning Spun Gold TV for over ten years, where she turned the company into one of the biggest and most successful indies in the UK.

Daniela joined Spun Gold TV from ITV, where as Controller Entertainment, she oversaw shows including Dancing on Ice, I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, and Piers Morgan’s Life Stories. She also served as Commissioning Editor, Factual ITV and ran ITV2, coming up with the successful strategy to devise brand extensions such as Xtra Factor and I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here Now, which built it into the most watched non-terrestrial channel.

Prior to joining ITV, Daniela was Director of Programmes VMTV, Virgin 1, Bravo, Bravo 2 and Challenge. She started her career as a journalist before going on to produce and direct in all genres, including hit, long-running shows like Ibiza Uncovered, Airline, The Bill and Emmerdale.
