Eileen is an award-winning Series Producer and Show-runner with a track record in leading teams to create high-rating, entertaining and accessible factual shows. She has built a reputation on making programmes that mix rigorous journalism with charm, quirkiness and beautifully shot spectacle.

Recent achievements include developing and show-running all three seasons of the RTS-winning specialist factual series The Secret Genius of Modern Life and Executive Producing the long-running BBC heritage brand The Sky at Night.

A strong believer in nurturing new talent, she is also well known for her work as a mentor for organisations including BBC Studios and the National Film & Television School and is co-founder of the BBC Studios Women in Science TV group which pushes to achieve gender parity for women in science television.
