Karen Smith is the founder and MD of Tuesday’s Child Television.

Tuesday’s Child is a UK-based independent production company has offices in London, Glasgow and Cardiff and specialises in entertainment and popular factual programming. Over the last 12 years Tuesday’s Child has devised and produced internationally successful entertainment and factual entertainment series for both UK and US broadcasters.

They are the format creators of the brand-new, high-octane 8x60 entertainment format The Fortune Hotel, the prime-time show will premiere on ITV and STV early in 2024 hosted by Stephen Mangan. They are creators of the multi award-winning global competition format LEGO Masters which has sold into 19 territories.   They have also created and produced seven seasons of the music quiz The Hit List for BBC One; celebrity performance show ​Queens For The Night for ITV1;   two seasons of the reality competition Killer Camp for ITV2 and The CW (with several international options underway); ​four seasons of comedy panel show Guessable? for Comedy Central; ​three seasons of the RTS winning travelogue Extraordinary Escapes With Sandi Toksvig;  The Rose D'Or Nominated arts documentary The Boy Who Can't Stop Dancing for Channel 4 and multiple seasons of the award winning You’re Back in the Room for ITV1 (the format has also been produced in ten international territories).
