Tom Williams
Tom Williams is an award-winning television format creator with nearly 20 years’ experience developing some of the UK’s biggest entertainment shows.
His credits span primetime quiz like The Million Pound Drop (Channel 4), big scale singing competition in shows like Starstruck (ITV) and high-end reality game in Battle Camp (Netflix).
He began his career at Endemol, developing The Million Pound Drop and The Bank Job (Channel 4), before joining Remedy Productions, where he created and Series Produced BBC’s Ready or Not.
He then became Head of Development at Remarkable Television, where he helped bring NBC’s The Wall and a rebooted Ready Steady Cook (BBC) to air, as well as developing Starstruck and Richard Osman’s House of Games Night, a primetime spinoff of the daytime quiz.
Most recently, as Creative Director at Talkback Thames, Tom created Mamma Mia: I Have a Dream (ITV), The Big Celebrity Detox (Channel 4) and Battle Camp (Netflix).
In January 2025, Tom left Talkback Thames to partner with Lily Wilson at ITV Studios to launch a new company, Bright Entertainment.
